Post Rev limiter

A curiosity here in five power commander, has an option to rev limiter 14100rpm. asks a LOADKEY to activate it. Anyone know that code and this? and how to activate? the S1000 is no longer enough that rotation in sixth gear?

I know nothing about it. I would doubt that the PC could be used to change a set rpm limit on the ECU.

PCV doesn't change anything to do with the rev. limiter... only adjusts fuel throughout the rpm range.

It cracks me up how many people fail to realize what a PCV does. PCV, or Bazzaz for that matter, only affect fueling. Both have add on modules that allow you to tune timing, but none of these will allow you to alter the rev limiter. The only way to do that is to reflash the ECU.

Thats right except that Dynojet offer a rev extend module for some bikes and they said on this forum that they were working on this for the 1000 as well as an ignition timing functionality.

very true! We can raise the rev limiter if you like, along with the rest of the options on our reflash for the rr

But that's with a ref lash of the ECU, not a piggy back system like the PCV.
