As the voltage required for LED's is less than incandescent bulbs & can vary depending on color and or type you would need to install resistors in line! Mounting kit! More info?

The BMW LED's are plug and play. No resistor required.

There should also be an additional mounting loom for the rear led's to plug in to. Should have been included with the kit you bought.

Also, just fit them yourself. The shop insisted program was required, I fitted them myself and it works fine (they lied). I think reprogramming is only needed if you fit only the rear or only the front.

If they are the BMW LEDs you can do front or rear only or all without LAMP error on dash. If trying aftermarket the flash rate will change if there are no resistors with the LEDs or you don't put any in-line. You can bypass resistors by having the LAMP check function disabled--requires the use of the BMW MOSS PC. Flash rate is cured and if you disconnect lights for track riding there is no LAMP error where the engine temp is.

I should have the paperwork for mine lying about somewhere. Will take a look and post up a copy. I think they were wrapped in the same packet as the loom in case you've accidentally missed them.
