No they keep that rapped up so tight they want no one to know what they’re doing

And half of it is stuff you can't get, no matter how much you want it.

The WSBK bikes share very few parts with the bike you and I are riding on the street. Different frames, swingarms, everything.

Yup - the bikes have the same silhouette, that's about as far as it goes.

CLICK HERE for an idea of what changes can be made. New forks, new swingarm, braced frame, engine internals, airbox - the list is endless.

Remove 155 lbs of stuff. Replace with 65 lbs of unobtanium. Voila, now you have a 365lb S1000RR, hopefully just like Leon's.

Ours weights 373 lbs with fluids other than gas.

That is with steel bar ends (.5 lbs)
Flywheel, alternator, starter, stock rear brake caliper, stock rear subframe, stock fairing mount.
Fiberglass bodywork.

Another 8 lbs would not be that hard.

The hardest part about Leon's bike would be the electronics.

I can believe that for sure. Considering the human brain can still process information way faster than a computer, I would love to peek into the mind of one of the software engineers that is responsible for these race teams' electronics packages.

After all, the computer still can't feel what's going on like the rider can, although sensors and acquisition are improving constantly in that direction.

If things were to get too advanced, we wouldn't need a throttle tube, just an on/off switch. I hope that doesn't happen in my lifetime.
