Unhappy Wrong Gear indicator and quickshifter issues on the digital display

A funny thing started happening on my gear display screen. I will be in 1st gear and opening the throttle the gear selection on the screen will start change gears. The engine still in first will show i'm in 2nd then 4th and 6th without me changing gears.

This only happens as the bike gets warmer. I've also notice when this starts happening that my Quickshifter is disabled. Nothing happens when i'm trying to shift up. Only clutch shiftings work.

Sometimes the gear indicator also disappears then i don't know what gear i'm in. I'll stop, try to get the bike into neutral and the neutral light won't come on neither will it display neutral. After a few seconds, it comes on and the display shows Neutral.

ECU perhaps?

BMW reloaded the software this morning but still having the same issues. I'm taking the bike back on monday.

Anyone else having these issues?

Still no luck. Now, BMW are trying to change the QS and see if that sorts it out. Not happy!

Cant remember the name of the part but it's sorted. It's the portion that tells the ECU what gear you are in. All sorted and happy!

They probably need to trouble shoot the gearbox potentiometer.
