Set the bike up for the 1/4 mile
I converted my bike over to run it on the 1/4 mile. And yes I know some people hate stretched bikes, and no I don't ride around town like this. I consistently convert it back and forth depending on which event I want to run the bike at. I was at Barber a month ago so decided to try my hand at drag racing the bike. Tonight I ran the bike and achieved a 9.15 @ 152.6mph with a 1.53 60ft. This was my first time at the strip on the set-up and the only power adders are exhaust and pc5 and the bike has stock air filter and was on 93 octane gas from Chevron. I was impressed.

Very impressive. Do you have plans for some more 'serious' mods to take it to the fabled next level?

very good #'s! right in line with my 9.3@155 with 1.8 60'.
i only had PCV, exhaust and race gas with brocks front end straps/lowered up front.
are you using brocks rear adjustable links to lower the back? how do you like their swingarm extenders?

I was running Brock's street map on that pass and was on the stock conti attack, with his Track map using MR12, a shinko tire and pulling the filter, it should put me in the 8.90's. The only problem is I'm in Louisiana and the humidity is gonna start getting ridiculous. I wont do any serious mods to the bike because as it sits now I can change it back to road race trim in a lil over 2 hrs.

I wish I weighed the same as you, there's no telling what the bike would do then. I'm jealous of your 9.3's with those 60'. If you could get it to hook and sit your bike would run ridiculous times with you on it. Their extensions are a piece of art and bolt in perfectly. No, it's just a roaring toyz lowering link, but I do have plans to buy their window link and pivot. I set it at an inch last night, I tried 2 but with me on the bike the rear of the pan was taking a nap on the track before I even launched it.

my run was on the stock conti also, i think i aired down to ~25psi and no burnout. i was on MR12 also on that run. i will go a lot faster later on, have some diff priorities right now.

Where do you get your MR12. the local distributor here doesn't carry it in stock. It takes 2 weeks to get it in.

great numbers, I've been dying to take mine to the track but mother nature has been very naughty lately, I am also stretched and lowered.
Do you have a clutch mod yet?
