Default 16 tooth front sprocket

I'm looking to go down one tooth in front and possibly up one or two in rear, but I don't want to loose to much top end does anyone here know how much top end I will loose by going down one in front?

I have a 16tooth front sprocket for the OE 525 chain with less than 500miles on it if you're interested.

Make sure you've entered your top end RPM in the proper box. At least with the S1000RR it gives you 13,000 as a default, when actual redline is 14,200. I think the site gives the horsepower peak rather than redline. That may change its readout for your GSXR and put it more in line with your real world experience.

I've put the S1 in and it doesn't match what the GPS speeds you see floating around either... I think the gearing commander tool will get you close, but is probably a little understated for the S1 at least.

You might try using the tool a little differently. Take a look at the relative changes (percentage) and apply that to what you "know" the facts to be on your bike. So if you know your S1 tops out at 192 GPS, and you run the gearing calculator to find dropping a tooth drops the numbers on the tool by "X" percent... apply that same percent to the 192 and I imagine you'll get closer.
