Having difficulties with LighTech chain adjusters.

I'm having some problems with my Lightech chain adjusters and was wondering if it was just me or I've got a faulty adjuster or if you've had to modify them to work better.

The main problem is that on the adjuster on the nut side there is a lip on the adjuster where the spindle runs through to keep it tight. When I start to tap the spindle out to remove the wheel this lip gets stuck in the threads of the spindle making it very difficult to remove and replace if the wheel isn't perfectly lined up.

I do a lot of trackdays and wheel changes on my own so need something quick and easy to use but at present these are proving to be very difficult.

I didn't experience any problems with mine. There was no resistance at all.

Yeah. Doesn't sound right, but with any system the adjuster holes and the wheel are going to have go be well-aligned with one another for thee to be little or no resistance as the axle is pushed through.

I'm thinking about thes adjusters, as well. I looked at the OPP website at the hi-res photos and watched the installation video, but I don't see any "lip" that would catch the axle threads.

Is there a lip on the axle hole on your adjuster? Isn't the hole for the axle machined straight through the adjuster, or is that not what maRRio is having problems with?
