Default ABS/DTC button. Please explain

Just checking things out I decided to push the button. Nothing happened. Pushed it again and held it down. Then the warning led on the dash came on. Push and hold again and it went out. I was wondering did I just turn off the ABS or the DTC or both? I thought you could turn one or the other off or both.

Please read the manual...I'm not your dad and this isn't a bed time story . Really you should read it and find out how to operate the ABS and DTC, so when it comes time to you getting it dyno'd you know how to turn off the DTC.

You should read the manual but here it is in case you can't find it or something.

Dynamic Traction Control DTC
with BMW Motorrad Race ABS and DTC OE

Deactivating DTC function
Switch on the ignition.
You have the option of deactivating the DTC function while the motorcycle is on the move.
Press and hold down the ABS/DTC button until DTC warning light (Orange light with a triangle and ! in the middle) changes status.
DTC warning light starts to show.
Release button within two seconds.
DTC warning light remains ON. - DTC IS NOW OFF!

The DTC function is deactivated.
Activating DTC function
Press and hold down ABS/DTC button until DTC warning light changes status.
DTC warning light goes out.

Note: if self-diagnosis has not completed it starts flashing.
Release button within two seconds.

DTC warning light remains off or continues to flash.
The DTC function is activated.
If the coding plug for the SLICK function is not inserted, switching the ignition off and then on again will have the same effect.
A DTC fault has occurred if the DTC warning light shows when the motorcycle
accelerates to a speed in excess of 10 km/h after the ignition was switched off and then on again.
