Default HyperPro Steering Damper

I really want to like the steering RSC damper from HyperPro, and am almost ready to pull the trigger. However, when doing my research it seems that they have had some QC issues in the past - leaky seals mostly. But like I said it seems that is in the past.

Current info is a bit hard to come by in any quantity or from sources that say anything more than "it's awesome dude" (not exactly a quantifiable or enlightening report).

Does anyone have any current knowledge/experience on these?

Thanks!

I've had one on my TLR for years and it is still like brand new.
The did have dramas with the older types (before the RSC) leaking
But also repaired them free of charge = great customer service.

How would you compare it to stock, and with 22 adjustment settings, did you have to do a lot of hunting to find a preferred range?

Thanks!
