Fitting a Magnetic Tankbag?

Does anyone see a reason you could not put stick-on magnetic strips under the plastic tank cover to attach a magnetic bag to. I know the ECU is under there and I am not sure if it might be affected by magnets placed around it. Any advice from someone with a big brain would be helpful.

The back half of the tank bag would have to sit on the tank itself, and the tank is aluminum, so I don't see how it could work.

The ECU will not be affected in any way. You may consider applying the magnets on the inside of the fuel tank for a cleaner look!

I wonder if the plastic's strong enough to take the beating that a large tank bag is gonna take when going a little fast.

If you want a small one I'd recommend the stock piece, nice and neat with a decent looking bracket that doesn't mess too much with the looks of the bike when the bag isn't on there.
