Default 520 Conversion Complete -1/+1

Just finished with my 520 conversion. I went with the package that Riders Discount offers with DiD Erv3 Chain and Renthal sprockets. I went with a 16t front and 45t Rear. I ended up taking a link out of the 120 chain, mostly just to give me more adjustability. I took the bike for a quick loop and all I can say is wow. The bike is a whole new animal. Riders Discount delivered a great product with great customer service like always. Thanks again TJ. -Alan

Is the 520 really strong enough for an S1?
i ran 520 on my 600's and they would stretch and wear much faster with only 100hp

The 520 did erv3 gives up about 400lbs of tensile strength against a high end 525 chain. Wear resistance is pretty similar. I'm pretty anal when it comes to chain maintenance, so it is adjusted, cleaned, and lubed regularly. There are quite a few guys running this set-up with no issues. An ek mvxz only gives up 200 lbs of tensile against the stock regina chain.
