Default DTC

I have a friend that is looking at getting a s1000rr since he's seen mine. The one he's looking at only has ABS. He wants to know know if he can add the DTC later & if so what would it intel?

I think what he's saying is it's not a dealer addon. It either comes with it or not, and there is too much to add to make it worth buying the parts to switch it. Better to get one that comes with it, if he wants it.

i think if not factory, Bazza tuning has something to offer, like a track control. of course, less sophisticated then the OEM, but it will work...

I believe models which have ABS have DTC as well at least in US... (I may be wrong) However as S&Kmotorrad stated Bazzaz offers TC control unit - Podium Parts - Bazzaz Fuel Injection Control

DTC cannot be added at the dealership. It is an OEM option only--factory installation. At least the BMW DTC. You could add an aftermarket module as others have stated--probably.

Get the TC put on from the factory. Even if you are a pro rider and you will never use it. Most likely whoever you sell it to some will have to have it. ABS and TC are great features and well worth the money IMO.
