Default Weight reduction, performance gains all around! What have you done?

I have compiled my list of things I have done to reduce the weight while still retaining street-ability. I ride about 95% on the street so take that into consideration. Please add anything you have come up with to add to the list.

Many of these are freebies! In grams.

Part-------------------Original----Replacement---Savings
Battery-------------------3107---------640-----------------2467
Tail------------------------722-----------35------------------687
Front reflectors----------29------------0--------------------29
Tool kit-------------------529-----------0-------------------529
Evap Can-----------------388-----------0-------------------388
Servos--------------------500----------0--------------------500
Airbox valve--------------106--------~4--------------------102
TB valve and bracket----175----------12-------------------163
Passenger pegs-----------918----------0--------------------918
Exhaust Arrow Full SS--11385-------4535----------------6850
Nylon bolts ~8------------35-----------4--------------------31

Total 12,664g, 27.91lbs. It's a start, I would love to get down to 400lbs.

I think that's everything I have so far. I am getting different size nylon bolts to replace some other non-critical bolts. Looking at getting some Ti bolts for some of the bigger bolts, as I have a cheap source for bolts. 520 Chain kit this spring I'm sure will shed a couple pounds. I wonder what the solo seat weighs? The stock seat seems awfully heavy for just a seat! And no I can't afford carbon wheel!

No I don't need lectured on how a few grams here and there won't be noticed unless your a hardcore track addict. I don't care, I like modifying things, it's winter, and I'm bored.

Also some good stuff in here: S1000RR Race Weight?

I took off the bar ends. Don't know what they are good for.

They dampen the vibrations, I wanted to leave those on.

Yes you do. There are some quality aftermarket ones that you can look into if you want to save a few grams. But I agree that you want some on your bars unless you love numb hands.

I added a Sliders, case savers, GPS, Radar detector, radiator guards and heavier bar ends! Guess I'm going the wrong way!
