Hello,

The large nut on the top of the triple clamp (if that is what you are asking) is 120 NM

Yes its 120Nm. Had mine changed by the dealer during the 9000km service as this nut had a crack - still wondering how this happened.

woah dont think its 120 nm if its the top top nut on the top yoke...

its prolly 20nm

the castle nuts underneath might me 120nm but that's doubtful as well, the bearing would be pressing far to tight upon itself....

find out for sure call your dealer or even better go there so they know what you on about...

or if anyone (1000rr) has the manual to hand (i dont) could post it

i could be very wrong but im sure im not and it could be dangerous

It is 120Nm.

The nut below the triple is something much lower--the one that preloads the steering stem bearings. Then there is lock nut on top of that one that is about 50Nm.

The one above the triple is 120Nm.
