The SP is a road tyre, like a Corsa. I personally would run 32f/32-30r hot off the track.
When I run a road tyre at the track I run them slightly higher because I don't want to ruin them. You'll get good grip at the lower pressures you menioned but the rubber will be baked after a day or maybe two. If your going to abuse the rubber that much you might as well buy proper track tyres like the SC compound and revel in the stickyness.

Thanks for the feedback!!
I got them because I'm not a aggressive rider, but an avid rider attempt to advance at my own pace. Mostly trail and error to understand what I want.
I have been using street tire, such as Dunlop Q2, AKA SPORT SMART( I think), for the past 6 track days with GSXR (sold), 2 track days with BS016 on the S. My point is: they seems to work well at cold at 30/30. Yet, those tire don't have 6~7 psi difference after a session on track. After yesterday riding in the back road with twistie, notice the psi did raised that much. They seem to have more sensitivity among the street tires tires have used.
Just out of my curiosity, what is the price variance in percentage between SP & SC in your side of town? I think you are in UK, correct?

How do you like the supercorsa sp on the street? I'll be getting a set on Monday and never tried them, but I've liked pirelli on previous motorcycles! Thanks.

to be honest, Kowalski is correct, its the stickiest street tire out there, best money can buy. I've just used it today at Chuckawalla Valley Raceway, and it was very sticky, however, i preferred the Dunlop GP211 for track. Having said that, I've it compared today at the track side by side, and the feedback were better to my preference. They both corner like its on rail!!!
FYI, have the tire hot at 31/30 hot and i have Supercorsa 55/200 in the rear.

Hey-Hey-Hey!
I'm a Paddy in Oz so I don't buy tyres, I steal them! I have no idea how much they cost.
Don't get me wrong, sporty road tyres like the SP are more than good enough to have loads of fun on a track day and awesome for some spirited riding on the road. There may come a point though when your asking too much of them on short circuits so then it's time to step up to some more track orientated rubber.
These types of tyres may be a bit more expensive than the road versions but if you are riding in a such a manner as to get them hot enough, they will have so much more grip and hopefully stay more consistent throughout their life that it is well worth it.
A good way to try track rubber without forking out a ton is to try and get some part worns from a racer.

I really like these tires...massive grip, i did enhanced a slip (even at 200 width rear), not abrupt, very predictable.
here are some picture worth of looking at if anyone on the forum would invest their next set:
Left side rear:
right side rear:
right side front:

left side front:
