Default Standard Conti attacks performance?

Have you guys pushed these tyres? Are they any good for spirited riding? I have never used these becase I am a dunlop guy.
The Contis came standard on the bike and know nothing about them.
Please share your experience with the Contis.

Default awesome tires

been going hard on them since day 1 when i bought the bike august 3rd. have just under 4000 miles on the bike and im not the average putt putt rider. i go hard with everything especially back road riding. best street tires i've used to date. stick really well. might be able to get the guy this guy in full leathers on a ducati to come in here for more insight being that i out paced him in every corner and eventually passed him twice over in the back roads of La Honda couple of weeks ago .

all jokes to the side these tires have been great and i've been a fan of pirelli diablo corsa IIIs and michellin pilot power 2s for a long time and i think im sold on the contis for the street. hope this helps.

I had the Conti's on my RC-51. I am a long time Dunlop rider/racer and my feeling was that the Conti's were very sticky but lacked feel/feedback compared to the Dunlops. I think Pirelli's have a little more feel/feedback over the Conti's. The Conti's are very popular on the supermotos.

I had the Conti's when I bought the bike and did quite a lot of hard riding on back roads, touring and one track day. Never had any issues with these tires - they grip well, stable and predictable handling. Lasted 7k+ km.

I had them for 3800 miles and the rear could have gone another 5-700 miles but i never trusted them down low , but high speeds were very stabel . hated them ...

good tyre for me iv been on them a while now never let go and i just about managed a few ml from the edge fairly cold aswell they warm up very quick, wet and cold grip are the winners in this tyre for me in my climate, also quick motorway riding doesn't square it off to fast either ...

As what most others have said - very good street tyre. Warm up quick, fair wear for a sports tyre, good grip and stabilty.

You will find their limitation if you push hard enough at the track to over heat them, but never on the street. I think they are underated.

I got 5000 miles out of mine and wouldn't hesitate to use them again if the price were right. I am sure there are better choices for track tires, but for the street, they work very well, even for hard charging canyon carving over roads that see harsh winters.

They do not have the feel or grip of my current Pirelli Rosso Corsas, but I will only get 3000 miles or so out of the Pirellis, and they're a tad more expensive than the Contis.

They are a decent street tire. They got a little squirmy in the wet and that surprised me since I wasnt straight up with neutral throttle. I had DOT Power Ones that didnt move one bit in the wet (I get caught in the rain a lot). On the track the back moved around a lot in race mode and by my second track day the tires were pretty much done, but they are a street tire so I didnt expect much. My two cents.
