Default Dyna Beads tire balancing

Anyone use dyna beads to balance their tires. I bent my rim on a pot hole and a dealer told me to try it.

I use the beads in my dual sport, my K12S and my S1K as well as my trailers and am very happy with the performance of them... but I never have used any on a dinged/bent rim...not sure how well that would work. Not sure it can take care of a bent rim.... how would one figure out how many ounces to insert to offset that? Hmmmmm.... If the rim is truly bent, there isn't much helping it out... maybe a ding, but prbably not a bent rim.
Hmmmmm.. so, the normal amount for the tire is 2oz to balance dynamically... I guess you could put the 2oz of beads in and see if it helps but I have my doubts.
Unfortunately, I think the best option is checking some bike salvage places to see if you can find a replacement STRAIGHT rim.
Pot holes suck! Good luck with it!
