Default Alternative tyre choice

Ok, so my attacks are almost up on the rear, 8000 miles give or take..

I was looking all over here in asia for pilot powers or 2ct`s..none to be had..believe it or not.

Dont really want a pirelli as they scrub off quick, or the metzeler sport tyres...But i came across a good deal (for here anyway) for a set of the new metzeler Z8...sport touring..

Before i get bashed, all my riding is road, some smooth but most full of ruts and pot holes, cows, tuktuks, dogs, chickens, buffalo and sugar cane trucks with no roof or lights....bless them, BUT now and agian i hook up with a local club (3hrs away) and we do plan a few trips into the national parks where the roads are usually twisty and a breath of fresh air..(avoiding the roadside feeding monkeys and elephants )..but we do get on it when we can..

I`ve read a few new reports on these z8`s and they appear to be long wearing and a pretty good allround road tyre...and they are fitted to the bmw k`s..

Anyone tried or running them, or whats your thoughts...i`m no troy corsa either..thanks
