Default stock steering damper 1-10/10 ?

What do you guys think of the OEM steering damper on the S1KRR ?
I pretty much think it's a good item for track use, but not really good on the streets aka wheelies.... I find my Ohlins damper on my K8 gixxer A LOT stiffer and very useful for high speed wheelies, and since i had my S1r, it wobbles very often and i hate it. Pot holes everywhere here, lol... You will say it's all about the fork setup but i think it's both.

The damper is 100% fine for street riding.

If you're getting wobbles on the street, work on your riding position. You're gripping too tight on the bars and / or leaning on them when braking instead of using your lower body for support.

If you're getting wobbles off wheelies your front rebound is too high and / or your landing with improper technique (bars cocked).

If you're getting wobbles or light feeling of the bars on acceleration, your rear compression is too soft.

Getting a stiffer damper would just transfer the issues to your tires, removing the safety margin and giving you a false sense of security. A tighter damper would prevent the front wheel from seeking path of least resistance causing it hunt. The resulting forces travel through your frame to rear wheel, causing it shimmy.

The bike is giving you a message something is drastically out of adjustment.

you sure know your thing. The main -problem- is the light feeling /wobble on acceleration. But, please, i'm not sure to understand how to adjust the rear compression.

For the wheelie thing, everything is ok, i'm just afraid of tankslapping again like on my K8 Gixxer w/ stock damper.

FWIW, the stock damper doesn't do a whole lot. It does provide a little dampening, but very little. I am running a Bitubo and it has 18 clicks of adjustment. The equivalent of stock is about the #2 setting (at most).

That said, you don't want to hide a real problem with an over tightened steering damper. 75% (IMO) of issues are from gripping too tight.
