Default valve stems

hey guys i was wondering who makes anlged valve stems (metal or otherwise)for our bikes. i had them on my last ducati stock and i loved them, made checking pressures much easier.

the only ones that i have found specified for either, japense or italin brands, didnt know if it were differnt for our bikes.

or if someone can point me in the correct direction.

You can get an angled extension for checking & inflating, but it has to be removed from the stock valve stem before riding. Not expensive, and a lot easier than replacing the valve stems.

that's true, but i was thinking more for down the road, like when i change out tires, might as well do the angled valve stems. but thank you for that insight.

I'll add I had one on my other bike and it leaked. When you apply the air chuck to it a lot, the little rubber O-ring begins to give way and then the thing loosens and soon it rotates and you loose air. Drove me nuts looking to why I was losing about 10psi per week where the other wheel (it had a metal one built into the rim spoke on the front) never lost air.

I did the soap bubble thing and found the leak, then I found I was able to rotate then thing with my hand and take it off. I even used a bit of silicon in case it should loosen. Lot of good that did. The aluminum threads that hold the small nut (inside the rim) onto the stem were sort of stretched too as there's not much meat to them. Good idea, just not very durable.

Ended up going back to the rubber thing and no leaks since. Just got an angled air chuck put onto the hose from a hydraulic hose company to get to it easier.

They have them on ebay, I've always gotten them from CurvyGirl (it's something like that).

Do a search for stems and she will come up. Purchased from here many times and she's always gotten it right.
