Default Help.. Rough suspension set up for track day!

Hey guys going for a track day this coming Saturday and my suspension is stock... The way I got from BMW everything at number " 5" , can someone give me a " easy" help for me! I'm 6.2 ft tall and 180lb, my question is what would be a good NUMBERS for track with my carachtristcs?? I know the real suspension set up go far beyond about what I'm asking for, but would help me!

Tks!

If it is a "decent" track day company there will be a tire/suspension guy there. Pay the $40-50 and have them properly set your sag and they usually will help assist you during the day for setup. Well worth the $$$$, IMHO!

7-8 on the reb and damping all round was ballpark for me. Depends a lot on the smoothness of the track, your tire choice, and preference.

Hi Roddy, did he come to the track or did you have to book him in. I have a track day someone up, 1st timer superbike school and I would like to get this done properly.

You'll find R&W racing at phillip island most ride days & csbschools unless he's at a race meeting somewhere ,BUT & its a big but ,you have to tell him how you want it set up ,i personally like the hard settings for track days , probably too hard for the road . Have a chat with him he'll set your sag etc & work thru the day with you
