That looks like printed carbon effect rather than the genuine article or am I being too cynical. Given they don't use carbon fibre sprockets in WSBK or MotoGP it seems unlikely to be real.

I was just about to say that and there is a reason why, they are not just stury enough and crack...

The sprocket hub is covered with CF vinyl & the cheap stuff to boot!

lol... i doubt it would even work for that! Due to the round shape of the hub & its "hollows" such as bolt holes & the 6 cutouts its highly doubtful & border line impossible that the reverse side of that hub looks anything resembling the side showing. There is probably large areas of uncovered metal in random shapes & sizes, jagged edges, etc...etc...lol..

no its not, if you drill carbon the pattern does not continue as it does on the top of the piece.
