After 3 months the bst wheel mod finally arrived,a new distance piece to move the front wheel closer to the right, not happy such a simple mod took so long.

Why did you need this mod was it a fault with the BST wheels?

I also have it. I appears as if on a certain batch all the tolerances stacked up to one side on the components. Thus the wheel was offset by 1.35mm. Not a lot, but it made the disc get quite close to the tabs that keep the pads from falling out on the caliper. It will not alter the position or anything as. Pads wear, but it was not right none the less so better to be fixed. Mine was done at BST and as above bearings and distance piece were replaced.

just out of curiosity, would you guys recommend using the BSTs on the street? I feel like if I ever did get this mod I would only be able to use on it track...if I took a major pothole on the roads the rims would just be done for.

You can use them on the street no prob. Can take double the force on the stock wheels.
