Default front wheels adjustment prob

i did a daft thing as most blokes do, before i read the instructions, i loosened both left and right hand side pinch bolts to remove the front wheel.
now when ive refitted the wheel it dosent seem to spin as freely as it did before, brake disc's dragging on the pads
is there a setting for the left hand bush in the fork leg? the bushing i shouldnt have loosened

thanks
john

Default do this

slightly loosen right side pinch bolts. slightly loosen axle. sit on bike, roll forward and hit the front brake real hard to collapse forks. do this a few times. tighten axle bolt to spec., then tighten right pinch bolts. that should align everything. if still a problem, loosen caliper bolts and tighten in a sequence of increasing torque values. ie: tighten top bolt very loose, then bottom very loose. tighten top bolt more, bottom bolt more. etc.etc. if still a problem, repost for another idea/fix. good luck

Check to make sure you have clearance between the ABS/TC wheel sensor and the Ring mounted on the wheel

cheers for the help
that worked, slider disc's are not rubbing on the pads as much and the wheel spins more freely

good gap on sensor too

if and just incase the problem isnt perfect i just recommend that u make sure the spacer in the LH fork is all the way seated, there is a correct sequence to tighten front wheels.......

Thanks Slider!

I had been having a break "drag" problem when I rolled the bike around the garage.

It had started after I had pulled the forks to have the Ohlins 30mm kit put in.

I had tried loosening and retightening in different sequences to get the forks and the axle in alignment but hadnt had any success.

I even had the BMW shop check it when I took it in 2 weeks ago for the 3000 mile service and was told that it was a "normal" amount of drag (right.....)

I tried your sequence this weekend and it worked first time, so thank you again!
