Default Michelin Slicks - Manf. Date...

Anyone know how/where to look to figure out the manufacture date of Michelin Slicks. There's no normal DOT code w/the date embedded (for obvious reasons)... I think there is a "lot" number to reference back to the batch they were made with but I can't seem to figure out how to translate any number I find on the tires to a date.

Anyone know?

On Dunlops it's a 4 digit number. First two is week number. Second two is year. I assume Michelin is the same but I've only switched just recently so not 100% sure.

Been searching for the friggin 4 digit code... I was under the same impression. But I can't find anything. Usually it's in a little oval doohickey w/the four digits.

Michelin slicks never had date codes until very recently, only DOT's. Just received a 1246B front slick couple weeks ago and noticed it had a date code 2510 (25th week of 2010).

There should be a 4 digit code but I've seen a few that the code was on the sticker in addition to the sidewall. What slick is it and who did you get it from? Not going to bash anyone but agh I'll send you a pm

The place I get them from is reputable and I don't think anyone's trying to screw w/me. I know the approx. date because some stickers were left on... but in the cases where the stickers weren't left on, I was hoping for an easy way to tell and so far I can't.

The slicks are a TD1200 and an S1847C
