Red face k3/pilot power 2ct

need info-
rear k3 worn out,want to replace with pilot power 2ct,
my front k3 has a lot left,is it ok to mix these 2 tires?

I did on mine. I don't think there is any problem in doing that.

It's not recommended, either get a new K3 out back, or get a set of new tires.

Used, mix matched tires on a motorcycle are not the place to cut corners.

I agree, especially if you ride in an area, or in any kind of aggressive matter, remember that the P2CT is a dual compound tire and the K3 is not

Had the same issue, but decided to replace both with Power Pure's. Thing is to buy a combo is cheaper than to go and buy only front later. Unless you don't ride like the wind and your front can last by the time you put a 3rd back on.

Whether its good to mix tyres... well I cant find proof nor am I convinced that it cannot be done. I hear a lot do it and they report no specific problems.
Personnaly I would recommend to replace both front and back at the same time, just to be sure.

There are many issues, tire condition, wear, profile, etc.
