Default Michelin power one race tire pressure

Hello,
so i decided to pick up a set of Michelin Power One "Race" tire for this weekend event at NJMP. So the Michelin website says the tire pressure should be set at f 30.5 psi R 21.5 it doesnt say hot or cold..? Also they didnt have S1000 as an available option for tire choice so im not sure how up to date the website is.....

Anyone have any experiance with the Soft front Soft/ med rear..? And what Temps hot are you running...I was thinking of using 31 Front Hot, 26 Rear Hot...any feedback before saturday would be great....

I've never been to NJMP so I'd be speculating on your pressures. Talk to your local trackside vendor or if you don't have one call David Hirsch over at Island racing Services 409-771-3950 your pressures won't necessarily change because it's an S1k but more so based on your compound, track, super bike vs super sport and local temps. It's been about 2 years since I ran the Michelins

We have been using
- Rear 26psi HOT off the warmers
- front 33psi HOT off the warmers for A, B compound
- front 36psi HOT off the warmers for V compound

Becarful with the A front. I was told by the Michelin tire supplyer in the Southeast that the A compound is for 58 degrees and lower. A use the B front and B rear for track days and they are great. They dont seem to get much life 1trackday and they dont have much left. He said 22 rear 30 psi front.

Default Tire review

WEll i wish more people could have been at NJMP this past sunday for a great afternoon of riding and pushing hard on the S1000rr. It rainined cats and dogs saturday night and left the track wet for the first session of the morning.

I went out on a brand new A front and B rear and felt like i was on ice skates for the first couple of laps im sure the tires cooled off as i went through the water puddles. I had my first rear end slide and the bike went into Rain mode ASAP. After that the laps were much more enjoyable and started to learn the track.....

once i came back in i checked the tire pressure and was amazed that the front was up to 35psi...? Im not sure why the front went from 30 to 35 after two sessons? i backed it down too 32 and was good to go..

So how did the tires perform..well if they are cold they are not really confidence inspireing, once heated and track temps were around 65 degrees the tires perfromed flawlessly...What was so great.. breaking hard into turn one at NJMP i have never felt any front end so stable like i did this past weekend. The rear stuck like crazy glue and at the DTC working overtime...love the tires i will run them for the rest of the rear.....

can anyone give me more feedback on the V front? if i could have improved anything i would have like to been able to tighten up my turns a little more, or be able to turn the bike in faster..im not sure if i should approach this fix by geometry changes or front tire change....i have already flipped the ecentric spacer in the rear.....
