Default ohlins internals or full forks?

just wanted to hear any performance experiences or opinions. clearly the cost of the drop-in internals is much cheaper but wondering about overall performance.

building as tricked out RR as possible to include brake, wheel, suspension, and motor upgrades among other things

The Ohlins FGRT Forks use 25mm internals where as the Ohlins Cartridge Kit is 30mm. From what I've heard people are happier with the 30mm internals. Prolly best to ask someone like Dan Kyle or Evan Steel (ESP) to get specifics before dropping the coin.

You want the drop-in's. If you have the coin you can wait until the gas charged internals are available.

Evan at ESP can take care of you, you're not going to get better advice from the Internet than his.

Are you putting some goodies on your S1, the black one? What are your plans for it?

gonna take one of the '11's and make it over 200 hp at the wheel with a gregg's custom single sided swingarm that's 4in over and some sort of custom paint job. I want to put the nastiest of nasty parts on it: ohlins suspension, bst wheels, galfer rotors, accossato master and calipers, attack triple, etc.

i'd like to be able to swap swingarms real quick to go from 'race bike' to custom killer whenever i want. partly a way to garner some press and mostly me being a kid in a candy shop!

The Ohlins forks are the way to go for what you are doing.

Or you can go with the Superbike forks.
