Default Tyre pressure K3r K1f

Hi
Just changed from the Conti's to a K3 rear and K1 front,
Doing a track day this weekend and just wondering on correlation of tyre pressure to tyre temperature,i have tyre warmers
Does anyone use a infrared to check tyres before and after a session and if so what should you be looking for
What pressure is recommended for the track with these bearing in mind it will be between 35c and 38c ambient ,bit warm here this time of year

I ran the K3's at a couple track days. I normally run them at 32/34 [r/f] on the street and for the track would drop them to 29/31. I didn't use an infrared on those particular tires, but on my track bike (R6) by the time I'd get back to the pit, I'd hit the tires w/the infrared and they'd be in the 170's... so I'm guessing that if I stopped directly off the track, they might be 10-15 degrees higher than that. The temp was taken on the area of the tire where I was throttling out of the turns (~1.5" or so from the corners of the tire).

Not sure if that helps you any

EDIT: I know of another fella that ran the K3's and ran 30/30 and had good luck too... pretty fast guy.

The temps (170's mentioned above) on my Track bike were on Michelin Race DOTs btw... not that that matters much.

I ran the stock OEM K3's front and rear at 3 track days at Phillip Island this month. Used 30/29psi cold (F/R) ... hot off track measured 34/33 ... worked really well on a 25deg day, no cloud cover. Sorry don't use tyre warmers yet (but i'm a saving!)

I got the same, Set up K3 Rear 29psi. K1 Front 30 psi. And the tires are no joke,I love them. As for the infrared,The rear got as 178 hot,The front was 133 or 138 most off the time,Wide open.
