1st Suspension Mod
I am new to the whole suspension mods and adjusting. I am roughly 6' and weight 215 and just ride street/canyon. I have a 2012 on it way and I was just starting to plan some mods. What do you guys think would be a good start with the suspension? Alpha racing pivots and LCR Link? I understand that it should help plant the rear tire and improve handling. Correct?
Thanks for any help

I would set the sag, see if you're even close to having the right springs first... if not, think about springing it for your weight. I'd be patient though at first and let some of the race guys out there figure out where the best improvements are. I thought they took care of some of the geometry issues w/the 2012 so it may behave just fine for you since you're keeping it on the street. Even on the 2010's, you could get by with some minimal changes (springs, valving, etc.) and have a very track capable bike.

Ride it the way it is. Then have a pro set it up for your weight, this way you can tell the difference and will appreciate it more. Then if you are still not happy go with upgrades.

+1
If you don't know what you are looking for, dropping a couple grand on suspension right out of the gate may mood best move.

read up, make sure you understand all the buzz word
if you can't feel the difference between 1~10 setting on those dial, its ok, ride more, you will get the familiarity of it.
then, communicate with Pro guys to seek adjustment, carry out feedback, and adjust accordingly, not blindly as you want to modify it now.

As others have said, ride it first, then go see a local suspension expert who can set up the stock suspension for you. Be honest on where you ride and how, what your abilities are, and what you want out of the suspension if you feel it is lacking. What kind of bikes have you been riding in the past?
You've made a point of letting us know your weight. If you actually weigh 215, then your riding weight with all the gear you should have on is closer to 230. The bike comes with rear spring weight appropriate for about 180. Unless you like the rear really soft, somebody is going to suggest a heavier spring for the rear.
