Default Alpha Racing swingarm pivots and an LCR link...

Alpha Racing swingarm pivots and an LCR link...so, do I need 'em? I've heard that the LCR link does little until you change the swingarm pivots. Have others found this too? With that said, do I just need the swingarm pivots?

Thoughts, questions, comments, experiences...all will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys!

So...after a lot of researching and asking around, I decided to pair the LCR link with the Lee's Cycle Swingarm Pivots, which lower the swingarm pivot 2mm. This is in stark contast to the Alpha Swingarm Pivots which raise the swingarm pivot 1mm and move it 4mm forward. However, playing it safe and wanting to stay in the squat/antisquat "sweetspot," I'm putting on the LCR pivots. I'd hate to run wide or, even worse, wheelie on the gas at the apex and have it cost me, literally and figuratively, a ton of money!

Any thoughts from folks who have tried one or the other? Possibly both pivots???

$200.00...but don't use them if you're not using the LCR Link. The AFM #1 plate holder has tried the Alpha racing pivots with the LCR link with great success; however, I was too much of a puss to give it a shot...LOL...

I have also heard from riders in 2011, suggest this part is a must have for track, it will improved the braking confidence, rear will stay planted as fork and shock compressed under load.

i'm still feeling skeptical, if price is right, i am willing to give it a try on stock OEM set up.

I went with the Alpha Racing pivots coupled with the LCR link. However, I do have the Lee's Cycle pivots if I don't like the Alphas...

Check it out! Bring on 2012!
