If you get the Tri-R's they are only a couple ounces heavier then the marchesini magnesiums. I have a set on my bike, best deal on rims for the price.

not sure which way I will go in the end, either a set of OZ or CZ , just got my ohlins in 30mm cartridges and ttx shock and am buying my wife a new schuberth c3 with blue tooth for our rides on the K12GT (her anniversary present) so after thanksgiving goes by I will take a fresh look into these and pull the trigger some time in the next several weeks.

I have a set of the Tri-R's on my GSXR 1000, the rims weigh less than the tires. Mechanic said we took a total of 11 lbs of rotational mass of the wheels. Makes the bike feel 100 lbs lighter at track speeds.

Why would you only chose BST for racing and not for the street?
