50 states in 50 weeks... 1 week per state is actually quite low mileage on average. I don't think you'll have too much issue. Sure you may have some long days, but in general, there aren't too many states you couldn't cross in a day or two quite easily.

How much would it cost to ship your bike over here? Or would you try and rent something over here?

Forget Alaska, unless you transport up & back by ferry, or you will kill your bike on that run. Why not set a record for traveling to all the lower 48 in a minimum number of days? The costs for Alaska & Hawaii shipment in time & money are prohibitive, IMHO. Wrong bike to try for a BMW patch IRON BUTT.

Idk Jacox...I could argue both sides. I drove from Fairbanks to Portland to Vegas to Salt Lake City to Omaha and finished in Kansas City. It was a decent drive. Only bad part about driving to Alaska is Canada. Once you get north of Prince George enroute to Whitehorse...gas is a rarity. Some places don't take any cards of any kind so cash is king at all times. I would suggest ferrying it up from Seattle just cause there's a 320 some odd mile stretch in Canada where if you don't time it right, the gas stations won't be open.

I would definitely recommend riding Alaska though. A six hour trek on the Denali highway between anchorage/wasilla to cantwell/Fairbanks is all you need to experience. Just make sure if ur riding with the visor up and shades on...KEEP UR MOUTH CLOSED! lol It's god's beautiful country up there, tons of jaw dropping scenery. With that being said, they don't joke and say the mosquito is the state bird for nothing lol
