Cigarettes......
If these god damn things were invented today they would be illegal!
Been smoking a pack a day for more than 20 years & its time i gave up. Tried patches, gums, the electric cigs lol. & non of them worked! Almost even tried a hypnotist several years ago but she couldn't guarantee that her voodoo would work & said "i" need to want to! Funny! I thought that handing over $300- to her showed that i was sincere!
Ive been weening off for several months to less than a pack a day & this is my third day without touching a cigarette. I plan to give up cold turkey & stick to it once & for all! Got to start from somewhere so here we go....
Day 1
Day 2

Good luck Sal! Never took it up myself, but plenty around me have - and those that have succeeded best either take it upon themselves to quite cold turkey, or have a "wake-up" moment occur where they absolutely must quit anyway.
Glad to see your in the former group!! Stay at it!!

It's an easy habit to pick up but harder to quit. Whenever you wanna light one up, just shoot me a pm. I'll call you every name in the book and make you so BS that you will forget you even wanted one lol. Seriously though, keep ur head in the game, you can do it.

Hey Sal, I know what you're going through I smoked for 30 years. I quit last year (April 6th 12:30pm) by reading a book.
I know what you're thinking, the book is called EASYWAY by Allan Carr. I suggest you spend the 20 bucks and if there is anything you dislike about smoking, keep it in mind while you read this book.
I tried everything to quit and nothing even got me through one day. I read this book and that was it, never felt better and I've never had one single craving either. Good luck and stick with it.

Recently quit myself, it has been couple of moths already, can't remember exact date and especially time... I don't think it's hard to quit you just have to sincerely want it - willpower... is huge thing, I also on the diet - don't eat anything fat, bread or anything sugar containing (including fruits)... Have been juicing and so far I feel much better lost 25 pounds and continue loosing... loving it...

I'm a smoker myself....
Anyway, try Chantix, the only thing that worked for me, had a few weird side effects (not going to announce them on here for the "buuterfly effect"... but if you are interest, pm me, and i'll let you know what they were).
Took it for 3 months and quit for 1.5 years. Then started back up again....
Chantix works by blocking nicotine at the receptor site, yet fooling your mind to think thats you are still smoking by releasing dopamine, as if you were smoking.
