Guns? Bueller?
Surprised to see no threads in the lounge about guns. Anyone else with interest in them?
While the Glock 23 is in CO with the s1k, i picked up a springfield xd40. dang nice shooting gun. Some people say it kicks more, but it didn't seem to next to the .44 mag
I took the xd and .44 to the range Sunday. If anyone in TX is thinking about getting your CHL, this is the course of fire required. Shows a little about each gun. pretty jazzed, 249 w/ the springfield, about what i usually get with the glock, but you can see how much better the grouping with the 8"+ barrel of the .44 is, and my first perfect 250.
.44 video
XD .40 video
PS.anyone know how to make the youtube window actually show up in the post?

I'm a gun nut, used to collect but now I'm down to just the stuff I really, really like. I love Python's, wish I had an Anaconda or a hand gun that would take out a Bear if need be.
Have some on-duty weapons and a for few things for Zombies too.

Nice. had a FL CWP from 2004-2010 in Jacksonville myself. Lived off Bert Rd. in Arlington where i had my bike shop for a few years, which you probably know is far from being Ponte Vedra to say the least.

I bought a SS anaconda years ago on a sealed bid from an insurance claim for $261, sold it to my uncle for $400. Unfortunately he shot himself with it. i like my smith, but that colt was a dang nice shooting gun.

no, more like self-inflicted fatal head shot. cops took the gun from the scene, not sure whatever happened to it.
