Default Wet weather gear

hi, need some help in knowing what size wet weather suit to wear over my two piece leathers. I have a touring suit from my old bee's but they're a bit bulky and i want something i can pack in the tail bag, just in case.

I wear euro size 52, but what does this mean in terms of a suit over the top. If anyone out there also has one and can assist as i wish to buy on-line.

Best thing to do is to stop at your local bike shop and try on some rain jackets and such. Also depends on the brand you're looking at, what your existing suit shape is (hump, no hump, etc.). I did the same thing last year. Wanted a rain jacket I could throw over my leather jacket during a 3-day trip. I usually where a large/44US and ended up w/an XL in the rain jacket.

cheers, thanks for the recommendation S1000RR. It's getting harder and harder to do the trying on thing in AUS with the shopkeepers as they know we will buy from O/S due to the strength of our $$$

Yeah, got some friends doing some work over in Australia right now. I think he's up over in Brisbane though. He was telling me about the cost of things over there... a bit more expensive for sure

Brisbane would be nice for riding this time of year. Yeah, Aussie prices, $24.4k for the bike, $1300 for the Akra slip on. My Dainese jacket is $1200 in the shops, but I can buy same jacket, leather pants and a back protector delivered from O/S for the same $$$. The only thing we can't buy is the Helmet because it must an Australia approved sticker on it .

Coming to the US next year, hopefully the exchange rate is good enough to take a spare suitcase for some new gear

I don't think you'll have a problem w/the exchange rate next year... the US isn't going anywhere fast Now if the Aus$ takes a crap, whole other story I guess
