Default Bin Laden

Mark Twain put it best when he said, "I have never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure."

Obviously it's a good thing but does anyone else smell something slightly fishy? He was shot and killed and then his body was buried at sea. This strikes me as odd. When Saddam was found the army was quick to take the media to Tikrit and show everyone the hole in which he was found. In this case there has been very little feedback.
I've seen a photo which allegedly shows a dead Osama but it looks remarkably similar to an old photo of him when compared side by side. Photoshop anyone?

If things went down as we are told then we owe a debt of gratitude to the US Navy Seals who went after him last night but something just doesn't sit right with me.

BTW, Pakistan has some difficult questions to answer and I hope someone asks them!

Yep.... You Got It!!!

I smelled fish the moment I saw it..

Killed, DNA Tested and Buried at sea in less than 24 Hours?

You bet I smell fish!

What I want to know is two questions..

1) Why the quick burial at sea?
2) What did they compare his DNA to? I'm sure he didn't just offer up a sample in the recent past.

This whole thing stinks...

I want proof!

According to the BBC website yesterday they said that the Navy buried him at sea because there was "No country avaliable to accept the body".

The DNA thing is also a puzzler. They got samples from his sisters, (apparently), not long after 9/11 for just such an occasion. The strange thing for me is that Obama made the announcement around 5.30am GMT and said they already had matched the DNA. Don't DNA tests take a wee bit longer than the 3 or 4 hours which had elapsed since the takedown? I thought they also had to go to a lab, unless they had one on the ship.

It seems to have been wrapped up neatly.

I also saw a video on YouTube from 2007 when David Frost interviewed Benazir Bhutto. In the interview she speaks of the man who murdered Osama Bin Laden! WTF?!

If he is not dead, he is on his way to meet the waterboard.

I'm thoroughly convinced that he's dead. His body was disposed of according to Muslim law so there couldn't be any criticism that his body was "desecrated". It doesn't take that long to do a DNA test. They already had samples from family members.

As was said, enjoy the moment. God bless those Navy Seals! Incredible individuals!!!

I am also convinced that he's dead but I think he's been dead for quite some time. It suits the American and British governments to have a boogeyman with which to keep everyone nervous and in favour of these oil wars.
Obama has had 3 hard years and I suspect that with this announcement his stock has never been higher with the American voters. I'm sure that it's purely co-incidental that next year is an election year, just like the coincidence that Bin Laden's last video release was weeks before the 2004 election which Bush wasn't sure to win.

We'll never know the truth but the differences between the capture of Saddam and this event are huge. It is very convenient that they got him and buried him at sea. I think they could have shown evidence rather than having nothing but the word of a politician to go on.

1. Bin laden is dead...Period.

2. Working with various civilian groups oversea, DNA is used to confirm that you got your intended target and not a double.

3. We wanted to target a person and not a religion. The burial at sea was done out of respect for Muslin law. Buried within the next sunset.

4. I doubt the entire Spec Ops community would be in this cover-up.

5. Come one people. We have a victory and a morale shot in the arm to all Americans. Lets just embrace this victory.
