It was fun actually but then most litre bike are these days

Impressions:
+ Nice Dash
+ Roomy
+ Induction roar
+ Nice Gearbox

- Awful Looks (subjective i know)
- Not got the mid range beans of the BM
- No quickshifter
- Wooden brakes

Overall - not bad but if im spending a LOT of cash on a new Superbike I want something that sets my heart racing when i open the garage door. If it doesnt then i wont be buying. The S1K does that and thats why i bought it. In the real world of road riding its totally over the top as are most modern superbikes but thats not the point for me - knowing what it CAN do and what it looks like is what makes floats my boat

I did not like the dash, it looks cheezy and I could not get the hang of the rev counter, hated it. It is also long and flat and I did not like the vibes down low. Otherwise I agree with you assessment.

I have to agree, that has got to be the ugliest sportbike to come out in the last ten years.

On another note, my buddy has one and the BMW and we will be doing some racing very soon to see what the score really is. It will all be on video and I will be posting it up here for sure. Can't wait.

when i first saw it i thought it was a 600 it looks very small. i hate the gages. i liked how small it felt. did not like the riding position. i was really surprise i have never like the kawi street bikes but i did like the way this one looked. my final thoughts where the BMW is a much better bike
