Default FF credit or debit card

I am wanting to get a card that will acrue miles i can redeem for free flights.
A credit or debit card, whichever is the best.

I hardly fly once a year but i can make all my purchases or payments on the card to acrue miles or points.

I bank with bank of america, chase, and suntrust.
Any ideas on which card to get? They look so confusing on which is the best offer.

have you tried a comparison site like:

Compare Airline Credit Cards | moneysupermarket.com

I know its a uk one but a simple google search should find US equivalent

If you fly Southwest, the Southwest Visa isn't a bad route to go.

Having been through some identity theft issues with cards, I would go with the VISA card over an ATM debit card for travel. If some crook gets your ATM card number, they can get the pin number easily too (so I've found) by testing small one dollar iTunes orders or similar that you may never notice on your statement. He can later use your ATM card number online and clean out what money you have in your bank accounts tied to it once he hacks it. With the VISA, he cannot access your bank account funds directly. Been there and with B of A too. Big mess, and takes months to get it straightened out.

Mine was enjoying a ton of free porn sites overseas off my ATM and wiped the checking account out. I also don't do anymore online banking as it is not that secure if they plant a virus that records a certain number sequence (like your VISA numbers) and it later gets sent back to them that is known as your banking numbers or card numbers. Mix up your VISA numbers on orders like 3 or 4 numbers, then pop down and type a few letters of your name, back to the VISA numbers, etc. Just typing all 23 numbers (?) in a row normally asked online and their little virus keylogger knows it was a credit card and they snag it and you are screwed. Damhik either!
