Funny how the ZXR has less than 2hp advantage and only between 12000 and 13000rpm The s1k will smoke the zx in a straight line, no doubt about that. And Kawi claims 200hp - yeah, sure Nothing but hype, but it is still a good bike

We should wait until the end of February, to see which one is the winner.

P.S. And the bikes were not tested in the same day. So, this dyno comparison is not 100% true

Lol scraping the bottom of the barell for a glimmer of hope huh? An Italian magazine? Never heard of them but it's been mentioned that they dyno tested the green bike on a different day than the others and the others were tested after the track test? That's a bit odd but either way being the only test to claim the green bike makes more power equals people reading to find out more...good on them

Hmmm good question but if you are on the fence about which bike to get why not go down and check them out? If it's reviews you are concerned with do a little more research and you'll find more info or be patient the big names are working this very test as we speak

I just recently lost my previous bike. Wanting to get the 4Gen 10R but it didn't live up to the hype. I been searching on some reviews and kinda average them out which one is over all a better bike and found the s1k and a ZX-10R. Found "MCN", "Fastbikes", "Motociclismo", and Joined here and find a lot of bad things about the ZX which is kinda a good thing narrowing down my choice of bike. We don't have neither the 10 or s1k here in Maui. I would test drive either of them if possible. Gotta do some research before buying em' ya know. Kinda funny how a 1000cc bike like these are faster than a 1300-1400cc hehe

Just get the bike you like the looks of the most and the one that is most comforatable for YOU. They are both very close in performance and parts and will be very competative with each other. Don't let all the zx haters on here deter you if that is the bike you really like. Same goes for the s1000 haters. Both sides are a little worried the other will one up them and it's really kind of silly.

Let's not make this into one our typical ZX threads, eh?! You know the ones... the ones where things get locked, people get banned... It's already starting to smell a little!
