Default 2011 zx10r dyno result and new exhaust pic...

austin racing dyno results with just their gp2 system with no pc5 or filter,pretty good results but still slightly down on a bmw s1000rr figures with similar system..??? they gained 8 bhp over the bike with stock exhaust so the stock figures are under 180 bhp stock at the rear wheel so quite a bit down on the claimed kawazaki figures .....still very good though.....

nice looking exhaust system......:thumbsup:

Probably a really stupid question, but I've always been under the impression that the HP/Torque curves should cross at 5250 rpm (all mine and the ones in MC rags do), but the one posted doesn't. Is that possibly related to the posted chart using CF: DIN Smoothing 5, while mine used CF: STD Smoothing 5 ?

They cross at 5250, it's just that they are plotted on 2 different axes. HP is on the left, and torque is on the right. If they were plotted on the same axis, they would cross like you said.

All dyno graphs should cross over at 5252 - it's a function of the equation to convert from torque (what a dyno actually measures) to bhp (what people/mags seem interested in).

HP = Torque X RPM / 5252.

im pretty sure the zx10r will be 3-5 bhp down on the bmw what ever is done to it aswell as the torque figures aswell,but its nice to know that the rest of the jap factorys will step their game up and beat the kwak and take on bmw thats until bmw bring out their all new bike....

intresting to see what they are actually putting out on a dyno that has been used for alot of s1000rr tunning to see a real comparision by a company that makes the same exhaust systems for the bmw s1000rr aswell.....
