Default Banned from the Squid board!

Yup it happened lol for telling the squid leader himself (babybloo) he shouldn't post or in his case copy and paste a magazine review that is copyright protected. It's really no surprise he's been threatening to ban me because..well I guess because I'm a BMW owner that doesntj put up with retards like nance, edgesitter, and a few other squids that act like big shits over there. It's obvious the squid leader lurks over here and doesn't like people being on both boards but it's cool that place, since he became a mod has really taken a turn for the worse. I'll still hit up the Kawi forums as there are still some cool peeps there but until they get rid of the squid leader and the illegal crap including the squid vids from the clown that thinks his bike is fast...not for me. As for the copyright stuff, John and Chris are very good people that have done great things for sport bikes. They are aware of that thread as is their legal friends. I'm glad our mods here do things much differently

at least be honest in that you provoked it and got yourself banned. Think what you will about whether or not the magazine should have been posted, but when you directly call out the mod of the board what do you expect?

Thanks for policing the forum though. I have to ask if you ever speed on public roads on your s1000? If so that is breaking the law and you should be reported. Maybe I will follow you come summer and ensure you are riding within the speed limit and contact the local authorities if you aren't.

I think the mod over on the forum had good intentions and was just trying to help share a new review on the most anticipated bike of 2011. I don't think he had any malicious intent. All I did was say maybe a "thanks for posting the article" was in order, then you flew off the handle and got all pissy.

Go figure....I'm sure you will go off on this reply too. Just wanted to let folks know you are kind of to blame for getting yourself banned and it's not all one sided you know....

I frequent both forums and my response to you on the other was really not as offensive as you made it out to be.

Point is you just need to lighten up a little.

And of course, everything you say is unbiased and truthful. Get a life!

Basically here is the run down.

Mod posted the article
Lee said "Yikes, I guess copywrite rules don't apply"
I said, "maybe a thanks for posting the article" would be more appropriate
Lee got mad (not that my statement was that offensive I didn't think)
Lee got into an argument with the mod and got banned That is the only remark I made.
Lee squeeled on the mod to the magazine and now it is taken down due to "copywrite infringement".

Granted technically it was violating copywrite, but he had no ill intentions and probably did it not really thinking about it and just trying to help people out. My bigger issue is with someone who feels the need to go rat someone out like that over something so small.

am I allowed to post a link on this site to another.....mods?

I'd rather just stop posting on this subject. I just wanted to defend myself for what little part I had in it and shed light on the whole situation.

Lol I was never "pissy" nor was I mad at anyone let's get that straight and the mod had ample time to correct his error in judgement but when you not only scan the magazine but then trash Johns son in the same thread you honestly think a man that makes a living reporting everything to do with racing and bikes and a personal friend shouldn't read that? It's a public forum! That mod continued a response on how he bans people for starting forum wars and so on, my response was I have no idea why he's bringing up the BMW board and I called you a troll...which as you've realized..you are! Here's the link Gen 4: 2011- 2011 ZX10R RoadRacing Mag Review - Kawasaki ZX-10R.net as for the speed limits comment, sure I exceed the limits but I do so on a racetrack or on roads by myself so not to endanger others, I dress for egress meaning not jeans and t shirt, and if I damage my bike because of my stupidity I fix it myself as I can afford that instead of insurance claims, I'm also far from perfect so if you are insinuating that because d-bag mod broke the law I "turned him in" you are sadly missing the point. John and his entire family have done a ton for bikes, racers, and military riders like me and he's a friend that signed a very good friend to his race team. A 2 year subscription is like 20 bucks to support someone that has done so much and you post up some garbage about thanking the mod?? For what? Being a loser? No thanks, as I posted I read the review in my magazine that came in a week or two before the post. It's one thing to quote the mag but to scan it on a public forum? Stupid, you can attempt to follow me whenever you want but I'm not responsible for you wadding up your bike or hurting yourself.

I'm not going to get in the middle of you and the mod....that is your issue

I am not friends with the mod there. I really don't even post over there that much.

But as a motorcycle enthusiast I enjoy seeing reviews and reports on a new bike I have yet to read. I don't own a subscription to every motorcycle magazine ever published, so of course I enjoy when someone else takes the time to share one they found. Again I don't think it was intended to hurt the author, but more trying to help fellow enthusiasts.

Lets turn the table and ask people here if a new article on how the s1000rr was proven to be the best bike of 2011 came out and someone scanned a couple pages for fellow members to read on this forum, would that be acceptable? Or should lee report the post to the internet police?

It's fine to act the way you did, but it is rather hypocritical in my opinion. None of us are angels. You speed on your bike, I'm guessing you have illegally downloaded movies/mp3s/etc, I'm sure you have burned a cd for your friends. Come on.....all of those will have some adverse affect on someone. Not saying it is right, but saying that if you never do any of those things then you have room to talk. My guess is you don't.

remember I said what I said....you called me a troll and made the starbucks mv comment after that.....so how does that not make you a troll?

Way I see it is you kind of brought this upon yourself.

I'm glad you said you wear gear, pay for your bike and not make insurance claims, and don't speed around any cars. For a minute I thought you were one of those typical sport bike riders...lol.

Blimey, GnanceyBoy, why do you insist on posting on a BMW forum? Is most bizarre. You add nothing.

Just Gnob off!

Don't provoke if you don't want a response....it's simple as that. I'm well enough to leave alone, but someone here always wants to start up something.
