OMG not this shyt! Naw just jokin'
I'm not sure where you are getting at but I feel two ways about it.
LinkedIn = Clearly if you are LOOKING for a job or to find someone you may know in a job that you may want. Kevin Bacon's 6 degrees of separation fo'pah. Great in concept but clear its not a "social network" imo. About a 2-4 life time use.
Facebook = Definitely a social network and is great to keep in communication with those you really dont talk to. I think its a great tool but people provide toooo much information on the site. Everything can come back to haunt you but then again... some people don't care.
Twitter = I like twitter but don't use it often but I continuously forget to be cautious with what I tweet. I have to remember that I can't make a fat people statement if I have fat friends who read my crab all the time.
FourSquare = I only use it for the deals that maybe at the place im going... from time to time I like to push majors off their high horse.
In general Social networks are a great tool that allows people to keep in touch and even get into activities that they never knew about or may not even thought of themselves. However people tend to abuse the privilege of social networking. I ALSO believe that only ONE generation in a family should access either account. I swear if my parents (or if I had kids) get a FB account I'm totally deleting mine!
