Ride my Motorcycle to work EVERY day.. Have for the last 30 years or so.
Got a Honda 90cc Monkey Bike when I was 8 years old.
Back home in Scotland, I bought a Honda CB100 when I was 16.
Then a Yamaha YPVS125 at 17,
then a Yamaha YPVS 250 at 19,
then a Suzuki Walter Wolf edition 500cc Gamma at 21,
then a Yamaha YPVS 500;
followed by a Kawasaki 750 H2 Triple (evil, EVIL handling Bike, but my GOD what an engine)
then a Suzuki GS1000E,
then a Honda CB 1100R.
Moved from Scotland to the USA when I was 24..
Bought a 1992 Suzuki GSXR 1100 (fat bastard of a Bike.. 540 lbs or so)... waited a year, then had it modded to 1425cc, full radius valve job, full system, Factory Pro titanium jet kit, etc, etc..
Rode that for a while, then bought a Ducati 998R,
then a KTM Duke II as a commute bike (bad idea as I only got 80 miles out of a tank),
then a Suzuki TL1000S as a replacement for the KTM,
then a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-10R (just sold it),
followed by a Kawasaki Ninja 250R as my Wife's first Bike,
then a 2006 Triumph 675 Daytona (Wife's second Bike after 1 year of her learning to ride properly)
and then a 2007 Triumph 675 Daytona (sold),
then a red 2009 Triumph 675 Daytona (still own, now the Wife's Bike)
and finally my 2011 BMW S1000RR in Motorsports colors with full Akrapovic Evo Ti system, PCV and Dan Kyle's Akrapovic map.
I have been a race driving instructor for local clubs (Trackmasters, NCRC, NASA, PCA, Green Flag) for the last 17 years.
Shifter Kart Racer since I was 11 years old.
Motorcycle Club racer back home in Scotland, mostly Knockhill, Bruntingthorpe, Cadwell park, Castle Combe, Mallory etc.
Now I am 48 years old and stick mostly to racing Cars (mostly Porsche stuff), but do the occasional Motorcycle track day... I may be old and fat, but I am still fast enough...
