Must be something big that they basically give you your money back and take it away.

That's got to be upsetting for someone who has already taken delivery. This could really hurt their sales to non die hard Kawi fans. I know I would be pissed if I didn't know when I was getting my bike back. Reminds me of that Honda commercial.... "I wanna ride!"

It's hard to erase the chalk board of a product that has been steadily improved for so long and then start with a blank slate and not expect set backs. It's called reinventing the wheel. I hope this set back isn't long. It's already a shrinking economy for sportbike sales.

Do you mean because of the economy or cruisers?

Because of the economy. Sales are down for all sportbikes and this isn't going to help. I know if this were to happen to Yamaha it would nearly cripple them as they are already having finacial problems.

I urge the Kawi fans to keep their heads up and not lose faith. Every brand has a recall sooner or later. It's the nature of the business so flame throwers please hold it down because it could easily be you next time.
