Wow, wow, wow......... great article, thanks Outta Control!

The coast to coast cannonball caught my attention. I would love to visit the old USA and give it a try. I could use my still valid WA state license and not get any points on my Brasil card. Hmmm, just need a bike to use. LOL

The part about out running your headlights is so true. Riding at night is not my favorite type of ride and I always keep it conservative.

(random pot holes from semi traffic)

Yep, a very cool article

Giddy up!

Its on a closed circular track! I dont see the point other than you can.

Now, if he were to beat this it'll be impressive.
VerrucktAxe breaks record for fastest motorcycle ride across America (on s1k)

That is insane. I once rode 650-ish miles on my S1k in August in leather and thought I was going to pass out from being so dehydrated. That took about 8 hours and that was enough for me..... kudos and tip of the cap.

True but I think the reasoning for a closed circuit is all due to the speeds he has to achieve to make those kinds of miles. This is more about human performance and endurance.

I tried my luck in prepping for a Cal24 ride but was gassed out more than 14 hours on my RT. I might try it again but this time on the S1kRR. Instead of the Cal24 I'd probably do an Iron Butt Ride.

Question is, would the forum Admins would like to sponsor me to do this?

He was hitting high triple digits through a big chunk of TX. The prep for this ride is insane! His record has yet to ne beat.

He had thought of everything! Even had helpers scouting gas stations to find the fastest gas pump on the route! He did it with no sleep in one shot!

With these riding records "iron butt" is old school. Its all about titanium butt now! Additionally it would be our pleasure to sponsor one of our most valued members. Please forward all pertinent info to member Z00 for screening / evaluation & details!

Agh... z00? I might as well get sponsored by Trojan and Visa in that case.
