I'm in love with that gorgeous land rocket and I can't imagine what a 1600cc full exhaust would sound like.

But... I was under the impression that BMW came out with the Concept 6 to draw attention to the power plant which was destined for the K1600.

I would be the first in line at the dealership if the built it! BMW has created a formidable super sport beast with the S1000rr and the Concept 6 would take the would by storm!

the K1600gt and K1600GTL are both available, no thanks,(to me they are gold wing like) I am not going bigger than the K12/13GT even for 2 up touring thats as big a bike as I can stand and if they would up the alt output on the K13S I would go back to it (had an 05 K1200S), but it doesnt have the juice to handle two full sets of gerbings and for 2 up sport touring that is needed JMHO

96 lb-ft of torque @ 2000 rpm with a redline around 9000 rpm sounds like a real torque monster.

BMW concept i8 isn't a concept any more, its featured in mission impossible movie and there are spy shots of it on a track... therefor there is a possibility that it could be seen in your BMW dealer in near future (with a Ducati price tag) but if i had some serious cash these two would 100% be in my garage next to each other

the I is slightly quicker in the 1/4 providing the Is HPFP doesnt fail and it doesnt get hot and go into limp mode, with the D its really about having a car that will do 0-60 in 5.5 and pull down 31.7 mpg on cruise at 100mph plus for under 300.00 USD you can add on a JBD and go to 326HP and over 500lbft of TQ. one of the car greatest advantges is that anywhere between 60 and 90mph you are in the meat of its powerband and have 425lbft of TQ avail right now with out any downshift, 2 lane hwy passes are the closest to a bike of any car I have owned including my 00 M coupe.

<3 BMW's .. my brother had a 06' 550i 360 hp and 360 tq .. thing was a beast. i test drove the m3 and that thing was also incredible... then all my veiws on cars went out the window when my brother purchased a used ferrari f430 06' with 1700 miles from califorinia and brought the car to fabspeed , they installed headers , straight pipes, xpipe mufflers w/ no baffles , carbon airbox covers, bmc race filters, evo tech ecu tune pulling close to 500 hp at the wheels and the car is 3000lbs , it really felt like i was in a 500 rwhp go cart the beauty just kept on pulling and pulling and turned on a dime. ( if anyone is interested in tuning there cars for a good price and you live in the tristate area contact jeremy at fabspeed! tell em joe with the f430 sent you)

this is his car after everything was installed
