Default To all my D and R Friends

To All My Democratic Friends:

Please accept, with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes
for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress,
non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice
holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the
religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your
choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or
traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or
secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful,
personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the
onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2012, but not without
due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose
contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply
that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the
only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, I, as the "wisher"
convey this wish without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical
ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the "wishee."

To My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Default True Story

Democrats have a bunch of bad ideas and Republicans have no good ideas.

On another note, I'm really disappointed with both parties, they both share blame. The whole, it's the other parties fault is pretzel logic. If anyone thinks a new President is the answer I'd bet money you'd be wrong. The system as a whole is broken, our laws have basically folded in on themselves.

Instead of just complaining though, I have a solution: Get lot's of ammo, things are going to get real bad here in the next fews years, as we are on the verge of a collaps if both parties don't piull the stick out of their....expletive with an A.

Oh please, republicans only want one job. From the beginning they have been a one trick pony. Give money to rich people so they can create jobs. For the 1000th time that does not work in a large open economy. Do your own research and you will see, and if you reference Ronald Reagan really do your research. He lowered the top tax rate from 70% to 50%, cutting 1.4 trillion from revenue, then he raised taxes on business, gasoline and other things to ad 1.5 trillion in revenue. Rich people paid less while the middle class paid the bills in gas taxes and business taxes. Remember, back then there where no Walmarts and big box retailers, and mom and pop retailers ruled the land and provided jobs to people. The economy rebounded but on the back of the middle class. Bush came along and tried the same thing and you remember what happened to him.

Today rich people are only concerned about being rich and will put you on unemployment and send your job to china if they know it will make them more money. Which in turn is the problem with the US, way to many imported goods come into this country which puts millions of workers to work in another country, while millions of Americans don't have a job. Giving rich people a tax break will NOT solve the problem as they will use the money to best serve THEIR needs and not the publics needs. The goal for repubs is to get the presidency and one chamber of congress, the house as they can find enough Senators to sign off, then its a done deal, 9-9-9 or some other stupid flat tax.

No, I don't like paying taxes, but what I do like is roads with working traffic lights, planes that take off and land safely and not on my house (live close to airport), clean drinking water, police, cars that don't explode, and warranties, and fireman that don't watch your house burn down because you forgot to pay the $75 fire fee. I also like kids in school during the day so there not out on the street robbing me. This list is endless. We take these and many other things for granted every single day.

Truth is fellas, this Is the new normal. When unemployment runs on the 14 million unemployed, the rate will drop but 10 million people will still be without job. The economy has changed and the middle class has shrunk. It's musical chairs, you either own the record player and decide when to play the music, or your looking for one of those middle chairs to sit it in. When the rich man stops the music you better be prepared. Lol
