I am an analyst for some of these "whales" and to be totally honest he is totally 100% correct for months or maybe even the better part of 3 quarters i have been trading anything pitted against the euro (i trade currency specifically) and have been making nothing but money hand over fist............. To me , more money is made everyday by supporting the collapse of a company(shorting) than feeding funds and equity into somthing new that might never "take off".................just my 2 pennies or euro in this case lol

i wouldnt say that they dont care...id say that theyre prepared to make money no matter what the economy is doing...shorting stocks and buying put options can be done by almost anyone. You just gotta do some research and adjust your portfolios...its business and their biz is making money. I dont know why people get bent outta shape when people are making more money then they are.
