My tribute to Super Sic

I got myself a nice new tattoo yesterday. They are not everyone's cup of tea (or coffee) but I've wanted to get another for a while now. Just my wee tribute to one of the most exciting riders in the MotoGP class in recent years.

but did you know him personally? or did you meet him and hang out for a while? or did he make a personal impact on your life?

I only shook hands with him once during his 250 world championship year but I've been a huge fan of his since his days in 125's.
After Rossi, Marco is or rather was my favourite rider and I just wanted to do something that would remind me of him. This will be with me for life.

How and why people touch our life's is not an easy thing to explain, I for one fallowed Marco's carrier for a long time sense his 125cc days and when he died I felt genuinely sad for the loss of a man I never met.

oh i agree and i did not mean that to be a shot at or disrespectful in anyway.
i was simply curious. I for one am deathly afraid of needles so for me to get a tat, it would have to be a super duper special reason. i know not everyone is like that, (afraid that is). and thought that he might have known him personally or something like that.

No offence was taken matey. I have a couple of tattoos and was looking to get another. I wanted to do something to remember Super Sic. As I say, not everyone likes them and they certainly do not tickle when they are being done but each of the 3 tats I have means something to me and were worth a few days of discomfort.

Tats are not for me but I think that's one of the coolest ones I've ever seen!

Surely beats "MOM" or the name of "insert ex-girlfriend or wife here"
